The Avon Company is seeking an Area Leader for the 1st Shift at their Zanesville, OH location. This role involves providing leadership and guidance to team members to ensure smooth operational processes within the manufacturing and personal care product sector.
About the Role
As an Area Leader, you will coordinate staffing, generate reports, track key performance indicators, complete daily paperwork, answer operational questions, represent the team in daily meetings, ensure continuous processing, promote teamwork, report operational challenges to supervisors, assist in team member training, and rotate through various operational areas such as Print Operator, Dispatch, Wave Management, MAS, Station Lighting, and Staffing Office to support operational needs.
About You
Required:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Prior experience with RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Knowledge of product line, finished stock codes, and material flow process.
- Ability to read and understand campaign bulletins and related information.
- Must pass Area Lead test.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle pressure and demonstrate flexibility.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Takes initiative and prioritizes tasks.
- Positive attitude.
