About You
- High School diploma combined with some post-secondary education (e.g., Associate's degree, skilled trades certification).
- Broad, hands-on experience in a high-volume production or manufacturing environment.
- Expertise in gears and machining.
- Demonstrated ability to lead large teams and resolve diverse problems under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive, data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Validated LEAN and continuous improvement skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility for various shifts and overtime.
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Previous experience as a Team Manager/Superintendent or in a similar frontline leadership role within the automotive industry.
- Proven experience working collaboratively in a unionized environment.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency with computer systems and manufacturing software.
- Formal training or certification in lean manufacturing principles (e.g., Six Sigma, TPS, WCM).
