About the Role
As an Armed Security Guard, you will be responsible for enforcing regulations to prevent security breaches, responding to alarms and incidents, securing crime scenes, performing crowd management, conducting facility checks, and providing access control. You will also monitor unusual situations through surveillance and complete necessary documentation as per established procedures.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalency diploma (GED)
- Valid Driver’s License
- US citizenship status
- At least 21 years of age
- Pass drug screening
- No felony convictions
- Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
- Minimum of one year of law enforcement or security experience
- Clean criminal record and ability to pass a comprehensive background check
- Physical fitness to perform security duties
Preferred:
- Degree in Criminal Justice or equivalent course of study
- Experience in military security roles
- Ability to operate x-ray machines and other security equipment
