About the Role
As an Armed Transportation Officer, you will ensure the safety and security of detainees in custody, perform duties related to their detention and transport, maintain order and discipline, conduct vehicle inspections, and follow safety policies. You will also be responsible for carrying authorized weapons and completing required training.
About You
Required:
- US citizen or a lawful permanent resident residing in the U.S. for the last five years.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Pass a criminal background and consumer credit check.
- Obtain and maintain a DHS/ICE Government clearance.
- Commercial driver's license with passenger endorsement.
- At least 21 years of age.
- One year of Military, Security, Law Enforcement, or Corrections experience.
Preferred:
- Ability to maintain poise and self-control during emergencies.
- Experience in dealing tactfully with the public.
- Proficiency in written and oral communication.
