Purple Unicorn is hiring an Arts & Culture Coordinator to join the Mandel JCC team in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. The role involves supporting, coordinating, and implementing a wide range of cultural, educational, and community engagement programming.
About the Role
As an Arts & Culture Coordinator, you will assist in planning and executing year-round programming, support operational aspects of the Palm Beach Jewish Film Festival, coordinate hospitality for speakers, manage community engagement initiatives, and handle marketing and communications for events. You will also be responsible for member relations, financial and administrative tasks, and coordinating committee meetings.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Minimum 3+ years experience in program coordination, arts and culture programming, or community engagement.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Canva, and virtual platforms.
Preferred:
- Passion for Jewish culture, learning, and community life.
- Reliable transportation and ability to work across JCC locations and off-site events.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
