Summary
Johnson & Johnson MedTech is seeking an Associate Surgical Account Manager or Surgical Account Manager to join their team in Hudson Valley or NYC, New York. The role focuses on supporting Cardiac Surgeons and Heart Failure Cardiologists through the Impella product portfolio.
About the Role
As an Associate Surgical Account Manager or Surgical Account Manager, you will be responsible for gaining distribution and utilization of the Impella 5.5 and Impella RP devices, managing clinical sites, and driving growth in your territory. You will collaborate with the cardiology sales and clinical team, engage with healthcare professionals, and participate in major conferences to promote heart recovery solutions.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- A minimum of 10+ years experience in cardiac surgery and/or combined cardiology medical device sales for the Surgical Account Manager level.
- Proven track record of selling in an operating room.
- Strong knowledge of cardiac surgery and structural heart anatomy.
- Established relationships/network of Cardiac Surgeons across the region.
- Direct patient support experience.
- Ability to travel 50%-75% overnight.
Preferred:
- A minimum of 5+ years experience in cardiac surgery and/or combined cardiology medical device clinical or sales for the Associate Account Manager level.
- Proven track record in leading and motivating teams to successfully achieve quotas.
- Proven track record of technology adoption and market development.
