Summary
Pratt & Whitney is seeking an ASE Military DTRI/Project Engineer to join their team in East Hartford, CT. The role involves working closely with a multi-disciplinary team focused on the sustainment of military engines, including identifying required repairs and managing task schedules.
About the Role
As an ASE Military DTRI/Project Engineer, you will develop technical task work scopes, create proposals for new task recommendations, engage with outside departments to ensure alignment, manage task schedules, and communicate risks and mitigation plans to stakeholders. You will also lead weekly reviews and prepare presentations for senior management regarding repair status.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
- A minimum of 5 years of engineering experience or 3 years with an advanced degree.
- U.S. citizenship is required due to government program requirements.
Preferred:
- Demonstrated effectiveness in working across functions and organizations.
- Experience managing schedules and driving projects to successful completion.
- Demonstrated analytical, problem solving, and risk management skills.
- Experience as a Repair Development Engineer or in military engine sustainment.
