About the Role
As an Asphalt & Paving Estimator, you will be responsible for reviewing project plans and specifications, preparing detailed cost estimates, developing bid proposals, conducting market research, coordinating with subcontractors and vendors, monitoring project costs, and maintaining documentation. You will also communicate with clients and collaborate with project managers to ensure alignment between estimates and project scope.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in estimating, construction, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications.
- Proficiency in estimating software (Bid2Win or HCSS software) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Preferred:
- Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bid2Win, Bluebeam, Estimating).
- Familiarity with construction management software and project management tools.
- Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry standards.
