About the Role
As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical subassemblies based on exploded drawings, navigating CAD models in OnShape, organizing component inventory, maintaining a clean work environment, and collaborating with engineering to modify prototype parts as needed.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1–3 years of experience in a fabrication, assembly, or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and job specifications.
- Proficiency in the use of fabrication tools and equipment (e.g., lathes, milling machines).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Preferred:
- Technical or vocational training in machining or industrial manufacturing.
- Prior experience with 3D printing.
- Familiarity with refrigeration components.
- Basic computer skills (e.g., data entry, work order tracking systems).
