Gerdau North America is seeking an Asset Reliability Planner to join their team in Petersburg, VA. The role involves supporting and coordinating Asset Reliability Maintenance Management to improve equipment reliability.
About the Role
As an Asset Reliability Planner, you will serve in an advisory capacity, facilitating down-days and outages by establishing planned work with operations, maintenance, reliability, and engineering. Your responsibilities include coordinating work order backlogs, developing maintenance plans, monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and participating in major failure incident investigations. You will also assist with inventory management and ensure compliance with maintenance specifications.
About You
Required:
Two-year degree/advanced technical training with at least 3 years’ experience at a Master level discipline OR GED/HS Diploma with 5-7 years of on-the-job heavy industrial experience.
Master level knowledge of heavy manufacturing or related maintenance engineering activities.
Extensive working knowledge of maintenance concepts and techniques, with expertise in asset reliability technology and systems.
Experience using CMMS (SAP ERP preferred).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
Broad knowledge of computer software applications.
