Goldman Sachs is seeking an Associate Product Manager for their Asset & Wealth Management division in Dallas, TX. The role focuses on leading the strategy and execution of Portfolio Servicing platforms to support the growth of Goldman Sachs Asset Management's business.
About the Role
As a Product Manager for Portfolio Servicing platforms, you will define strategic feature development, collaborate with cross-functional teams including Service, Operations, Engineering, Sales, and Investing, prioritize product backlogs, analyze user feedback and metrics, compile user stories and acceptance criteria, manage risks and dependencies, lead training and rollout of new features, and stay updated on industry trends to identify new opportunities.
About You
Required:
- 3-5 years of Product Management experience within financial services technologies.
- Understanding of Alternative investments, retail and institutional SMAs and their client journeys.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with all stages of the development lifecycle using agile methodologies.
- Proficiency in collaborating with technical teams and translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience designing customer experiences, developing product roadmaps, and prioritizing requirements.
- Demonstrated success in leading and mentoring cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
- Strategic thinker with strong facilitation and data gathering skills, able to provide creative and innovative solutions.
Preferred:
- Product mindset with experience collaborating with key stakeholders to propose products and features.
- Strong creative leader, self-motivated with analytical mindset able to multitask under time pressure and resource constraints.
- Ability to rationalize ambiguous, open-ended problems and plan for progression.
- Understanding of distributed systems and ensuring systems can scale to handle increasing business volumes.
- Advocate of best practices for system design, coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
