About the Role
As the Assistant Director of Sector Training & Employment Services, you will lead workforce development activities, ensuring programming is trauma-informed and youth-centered. You will develop strategies for credential attainment and job placement, build employer and internship pipelines, oversee workforce curriculum, and supervise staff. The role requires staying informed about trends in the green economy and integrating digital literacy into workforce competencies.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, education, counseling, public policy, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in youth development, workforce development, education, or related human services fields.
- Strong grounding in positive youth development and trauma-informed practice.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- Experience supporting young adults with foster care or juvenile justice involvement.
- Knowledge of employer engagement and sector-based workforce trends.
- Experience facilitating work readiness or digital literacy instruction.
