About the Role
As an Assistant General Counsel, you will develop and lead the legal strategy for complex technology, outsourcing, and AI-driven commercial transactions. Your responsibilities will include drafting and negotiating high-value procurement agreements, structuring outsourcing arrangements, providing guidance on third-party risk and regulatory developments, and collaborating with various teams to ensure compliance with legal requirements. You will also drive continuous improvement of contract templates and serve as a legal advisor within Vanguard's Finance Division.
About You
Required:
- Minimum eight years relevant professional experience with significant in-house or law firm exposure to technology, outsourcing, and AI transactions.
- Law degree (JD) and active bar membership.
Preferred:
- In-house experience preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and deliver business-focused solutions in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
