Fraser is seeking an Assistant Group Home Coordinator to join their team in Apple Valley, MN. The role involves providing support to the House Coordinator, direct care to residents, and mentoring Direct Support staff in a group home setting.
About the Role
As an Assistant Group Home Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring active treatment and personal care for clients, completing financial documentation, arranging medical appointments, and providing direct care as needed. You will also mentor and train Direct Support staff to achieve the personal goals of clients receiving services.
About You
Required:
Valid Minnesota Driver’s License with acceptable record required.
Ability to pass MN DHS background study.
Physical ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. consistently.
Preferred:
High School diploma/equivalent preferred, post-secondary education preferred.
At least six months of experience working with people who have developmental disabilities or related conditions preferred.
