About the Role
As the Assistant Manager, Pharmacy Operations – Procurement, you will be responsible for managing procurement operations, including inventory management, purchasing activities, and team performance. You will supervise pharmacy technicians and buyers, ensure efficient medication supply, and coordinate with pharmacy leadership and clinical staff. The position requires reviewing operational reports, developing policies, and conducting performance appraisals.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical science or a related field.
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) verified through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
- Registration as a Certified Pharmacy Technician with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy within 6 months.
- Three years of experience in a healthcare or related setting.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree, which may substitute the required experience.
- Pharmacy experience.
- Supervisory/management experience.
