About the Role
As an Assistant Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for mentoring staff, managing unit-level issues, assisting with budgeting and scheduling, and ensuring high-quality patient care through effective leadership and clinical oversight. You will also coordinate healthcare delivery, respond to medical emergencies, conduct clinical rounds, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or relevant healthcare field.
- Minimum of 5 years clinical experience.
- 2 years of progressive nursing management and clinical leadership.
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license.
- Maintenance of BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Proficient in English.
Preferred:
- Specialty Nursing Certification (e.g., CCRN, CEN, CFRN).
- Membership in a Professional Nursing Association.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish or other languages).
- Experience in correctional, detention, military, or government-contracted healthcare.
- Knowledge of federal and state healthcare regulations.
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary healthcare teams in high-security settings.
