About the Role
As an Assistant Plant Manager, you will assist in managing production schedules, labor, and materials to meet volume, scrap, and quality targets. You will monitor key performance indicators, lead and develop supervisors and operators, and coordinate cross-functional activities across various departments. Your responsibilities will also include supporting training initiatives and acting as the Plant Manager delegate in their absence.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline, Operations Management, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or assistant manager role.
Preferred:
- High Speed Manufacturing, Molded fiber or pulp-based production experience.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations, quality systems, and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
