Middle Georgia State University is seeking an Assistant Professor of Psychology for their Cochran Campus. This tenure-track position involves teaching various psychology courses and mentoring students.
About the Role
As an Assistant Professor of Psychology, you will teach a variety of courses within the B.S. program in Psychology, including but not limited to Biopsychology, Statistics for Psychology, and Research Methods. You will also engage in student mentoring, supervise research, and participate in university service and scholarship activities. The standard teaching load is 4 courses per semester, and regular on-campus presence is required.
About You
Required:
- Doctorate in Psychology or Neuroscience (or closely related field) from a regionally-accredited university.
- Experience in a university setting and teaching related courses at the college level.
Preferred:
- Experience with online course delivery.
- ABD candidates considered as long as the degree is conferred prior to appointment.
