Summary
Path Construction is seeking a qualified Assistant Project Manager to join their organization in Tampa, FL. The role involves managing day-to-day activities of subcontractors and suppliers, contract administration, procurement, and ensuring quality in construction projects.
About the Role
As an Assistant Project Manager, you will be responsible for general contract and subcontract administration, monitoring jobsite safety, construction scheduling, procurement of materials and equipment, processing RFIs, reviewing and coordinating shop drawings, project cost review, and supervising subcontractors' field installations. You will also prepare change proposals, implement safety programs, and ensure project closeout.
About You
Required:
- A 4 year degree in Building Construction, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of building and construction management experience.
- OSHA Site Safety Experience.
- General knowledge of construction principles/practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and working knowledge of project management software.
Preferred:
- Public work experience.
- Estimating experience.
- Self Perform experience.
- OSHA 30 Hour Training.
- LEED Project Experience.
