About the Role
As an Assistant Teacher- Infants, you will assist in creating and developing a developmentally appropriate curriculum using Creative Curriculum & NC Foundations for Early Education. You will help plan and prepare the learning environment to meet the cognitive, physical, emotional, and social needs of individual children. Your responsibilities will include supervising the classroom in the absence of the Lead Teacher and providing timely communication to parents.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of 1 year classroom management experience.
- Willingness to obtain NC Early Childhood Credentials within the first year of employment.
Preferred:
- Experience with Creative Curriculum & NC Foundations for Early Education.
- Ability to lift children and move quickly in emergency situations.
