About the Role
As the Assistant Vice President, Controller of Finance, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, maintaining compliance with regulations, and delivering timely financial insights. Your primary responsibilities include collaborating with the CFO on strategic initiatives, overseeing general ledger functions, managing financial reporting processes, and implementing internal controls. You will also lead the accounting team, participate in long-term planning, and ensure departmental decisions align with the company's business plan.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 8-10+ years of experience in accounting and financial management.
- Ability to analyze financial data and identify trends.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Preferred:
- Reinsurance accounting experience.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Adaptability and a drive to deliver high-quality outcomes.
