Summary
Guggenheim Partners is seeking an Associate – Program Compliance and Middle Office to join their Program Compliance team in Chicago, IL. The role involves overseeing and managing key aspects of the GTS business, particularly in the OTC derivatives collateral process.
About the Role
As an Associate in the Program Compliance team, you will be responsible for calculating margin requirements, issuing margin calls, performing portfolio reconciliations, and ensuring accurate trade reporting. You will work closely with various teams to manage collateral processes and resolve discrepancies, contributing to the overall efficiency of the middle office operations.
About You
Required:
- Completed bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 to 5 years’ experience in financial services, specifically fixed income and derivatives markets.
- Strong Excel skills required, including the ability to complete ad hoc analysis integrating data from multiple sources.
Preferred:
- Strong analytical skills, including ability to review and create detailed reporting from databases and other sources.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with peers, superiors, and external parties.
- Familiarity with efficiency tools, such as Python and SQL.
- Experience with TriOptima/TriResolve/TriResolve margin, BNY AccessEdge, or related collateral management systems.
