Direct Counsel is seeking an Associate Attorney (Intake) to join their team in Beverly Hills, CA. The role involves evaluating potential workplace claims and guiding prospective clients through the initial legal process.
About the Role
As an Associate Attorney (Intake), you will conduct in-depth intake interviews with potential clients, analyze workplace disputes, apply knowledge of federal and state employment laws, draft case assessments, educate clients on their legal rights, collaborate with intake coordinators, manage a high volume of inquiries, and refer cases as necessary.
About You
Required:
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership.
- 1-3+ years of experience in employment law or plaintiff side litigation.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and common workplace claims.
- Excellent legal analysis, issue-spotting and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with case management software and intake tracking tools.
