Summary
Ritsema Law is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their team in Phoenix, Arizona. The role involves representing employers and insurance carriers in workers' compensation and general liability matters.
About the Role
As an Associate Attorney, you will conduct legal research, draft legal documents, represent clients in hearings and trials, manage client communications, and develop case strategies. You will ensure compliance with legal standards and participate in client meetings and negotiations.
About You
Required:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Colorado, Arizona, and/or Utah State Bar(s).
- 1+ year of experience with general liability defense, workers' compensation subrogation, or related fields.
- Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with civil litigation, including preparing motions or defending depositions.
- Experience with medical terminology and language.
