Jersey Cider Works is seeking an Associate Cider/Wine Maker to join their team in Asbury, NJ. The role involves overseeing all aspects of cider and wine production in a hands-on capacity.
About the Role
As an Associate Cider/Wine Maker, you will assist in juice, ingredient, and material sourcing, plan blending, filtration, and carbonation of batches, schedule bottling/canning runs, ensure quality control, coordinate tank management and sanitation programs, maintain accurate records, monitor compliance with safety protocols, assist in inventory management, coordinate with the sales team, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and attend events as needed.
About You
Required:
3-5 years of professional cider/wine-making experience.
Strong understanding of fermentation science and cellar management.
Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment.
Preferred:
Ability to operate a forklift.
Working knowledge of Bucher crossflow filtration, Velcorin technology, and Ekos production software.
