About the Role
As an Associate Claims Clinical Specialist, you will play a crucial role in assessing the needs of insured members. Your responsibilities will include reviewing clinical assessments, collaborating with field assessors, and developing Plans of Care for Long Term Care Insurance. You will also communicate with claimants and their families to provide updates and ensure high-quality service.
About You
Required:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a current license in Massachusetts, New York, Illinois, Minnesota, Michigan, Pennsylvania, or a Nursing License Compact state.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional clinical experience in case management, home care, or rehabilitation, preferably with a geriatric population.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications including Outlook and Word.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with a customer service focus.
Preferred:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Long Term Care settings and residents.
- Previous experience with Long Term Care, Medicare, or Medicaid Assessments.
- Uniform Assessment System certification.
- Telephonic case management experience.
