About the Role
As an Associate Consultant, Geotechnical Engineer, you will assist with work plan preparation, coordinate field/site work, prepare geotechnical data reports, conduct modeling, and serve as a resident engineer for construction quality assurance. You will work on projects involving dams, retaining structures, and other geotechnical applications, while collaborating with contractors and in-house designers.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with an emphasis in geotechnical engineering.
- 1 - 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Competence in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, GINT, and Slide.
- FE/EIT (or ability to obtain EIT within 1 year) required.
Preferred:
- Engineer in Training Certification.
- Some prior experience in civil, geological, or mining engineering fields.
- Master's degree in civil engineering with an emphasis in geotechnical engineering.
