Summary
SS&C Technologies is seeking an Associate Director - Private Markets Fund Accounting to join their team in New York City, Union, NJ, or Boston, MA. The role involves leading teams in fund administration services and managing client implementations for hedge funds and private markets.
About the Role
As an Associate Director, you will lead teams supporting fund administration services, manage multiple client implementations, create and review distribution waterfall models, oversee the preparation of financial statements, and manage the year-end audit process. You will also implement effective processes to improve operations and participate in business analysis with clients.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- 12+ years’ experience in Private Equity/Real Assets fund accounting.
- 3+ years’ experience supervising and managing large teams.
- Excellent client relationship and project management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, advanced Excel skills required.
Preferred:
- CPA designation and/or MBA.
- Hands-on management style with strong leadership skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
