About the Role
As the Associate Director of Revenue Cycle, you will be responsible for strategic planning, team management, compliance, and collaboration with internal departments to optimize patient flow and billing processes. Your duties will include ensuring timely medical claims billing, managing denials, overseeing payment posting, and implementing technology solutions to enhance efficiency. You will also develop key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of collection services and conduct audits to maintain quality assurance.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in coding, front end billing, denials management, and payment posting.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, privacy laws, and billing requirements.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- Experience in a free-standing emergency room facility setting.
- Proficient in using healthcare information systems and patient access software.
- Proven track record in process improvement and implementing best practices.
