About the Role
As the Associate Director, QC Chemistry, you will oversee a team of 2-5 chemists, ensuring the delivery of safe and compliant analytical results. This hands-on leadership role includes approximately 50% lab work, focusing on critical testing, troubleshooting, and method lifecycle activities. You will be responsible for method validation, data integrity, and operational excellence across all testing activities, while also leading investigations and ensuring audit readiness.
About You
Required:
- BS in Biology or Chemistry (or related) with 7+ years of GMP QC experience (biologics preferred).
- 5+ years of experience managing teams.
- Expertise in method validation and transfer.
- Strong documentation skills.
- Experience with CDS/ELN/LIMS (e.g., Empower/OpenLAB).
Preferred:
- Experience in analytical method lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with HPLC/UPLC, CE-SDS, icIEF, UV/Vis, and potency testing.
