Summary
AbbVie is seeking an Associate Director, Statistics to provide statistical leadership for clinical development and life-cycle management strategies in East Irvine, CA.
About the Role
As the Associate Director, Statistics, you will provide statistical support for clinical development projects, lead statistical strategy for project development and regulatory submission, and collaborate with various functions to create development strategies. You will also train and mentor staff, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and act as a liaison for statistical issues on collaborative studies.
About You
Required:
- MS with 10+ years of experience or PhD with 6+ years of experience in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related field.
- High degree of technical competence and excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Experience in drug development and life-cycle management in a regulated environment.
Preferred:
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing cross-cultural or overseas teams.
- Ability to identify data or analytical issues and provide solutions.
