AbbVie is seeking an Associate Director, Statistics to provide statistical leadership for clinical development and life-cycle management strategies in North Chicago, IL.
About the Role
As the Associate Director, Statistics, you will lead statistical support for clinical development projects, develop statistical strategies for regulatory submissions, and collaborate with various functions to create development strategies. You will also mentor staff, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and represent the department in collaborative studies.
About You
Required:
- MS with 10+ years of experience or PhD with 6+ years of experience in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related field.
- High degree of technical competence and excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Experience in drug development and life-cycle management in a regulated environment.
Preferred:
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing cross-cultural or overseas teams.
- Ability to identify data or analytical issues and provide solutions.
