About the Role
As an Associate General Counsel - Employment, you will handle all aspects of employment-related litigation, provide legal counsel to management and HR teams, conduct case analysis, ensure compliance with employment laws, and develop training programs for staff. You will represent the organization in various legal proceedings and maintain accurate records of litigation matters.
About You
Required:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar (IL, NJ, PA, or CA).
- Minimum of 5 years of management-side employment litigation experience.
- Proven track record in handling employment-related lawsuits for hospital systems or acute care facilities.
- At least 1 year of in-house experience.
Preferred:
- Experience working in an in-house legal department, preferably within a healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with healthcare-specific employment issues and regulations.
- Ability to provide strategic legal guidance aligned with business objectives.
