About the Role
As an Associate General Counsel, you will monitor legal and regulatory changes affecting the industry, provide legal advice on compliance and risk management, draft and negotiate contracts, oversee litigation strategies, and support internal teams with legal risk assessments. You will also conduct legal research, advise on employment law issues, and address intellectual property concerns.
About You
Required:
- JD or LLM required.
- 10+ years of legal experience.
- Active and admitted in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, preferably New York, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania.
- Sound understanding of real estate litigation.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent negotiating and drafting skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in default services background.
- Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
- Ability to communicate complex legal issues in understandable terms.
