Summary
LEARN, Southeastern Connecticut's Regional Educational Service Center, is seeking an Associate Instructor to join their team at the Regional Multicultural Magnet School in New London, Connecticut. The role involves providing direct educational services to students.
About the Role
As an Associate Instructor, you will assist teachers in identifying student objectives, preparing written plans, and implementing individual and group activities. You will also maintain a safe learning environment, manage student behavior, and handle student records professionally. Additionally, you will be responsible for attending professional development activities and performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
About You
Required:
- Must have earned an Associate’s Degree (or higher) AND achieve a passing score on the ParaPathways Assessment.
- Child Development Associate Certification (CDA) or willingness to obtain a CDA required.
Preferred:
- Experience working with elementary-aged students.
