Summary

About the Role
As an Associate Medical Director, you will be responsible for the medical component of the assigned Interdisciplinary Team (IDT). Your duties will include determining hospice admissions, providing medical guidance, attending IDT meetings, reviewing clinical information, consulting with primary physicians, and making home visits to hospice patients as needed. You will also collaborate on quality improvement activities and assist with policy formulation.
About You
Required:
- Ph.D. Medical Degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine required.
- Hospice and/or palliative care experience required.
- An active and unencumbered licensed Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopath in the state(s) of employment required.
Preferred:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to understand, read, write, and speak English.
- Experience with Medicare/Medicaid regulations and quality improvement.
