Summary

Victory Capital is seeking an Associate Portfolio Manager Securitized Credit to join their Securitized and Short Duration Income Team in Boston, MA. The role focuses on credit underwriting, trade execution, sector allocation, and position surveillance for Non-Agency Residential Mortgage-Backed Securities (RMBS).

About the Role

As an Associate Portfolio Manager, you will serve as the primary coverage for all post-crisis non-agency RMBS client holdings. Your responsibilities will include developing econometric models to forecast prepayments, defaults, and losses, building systems to monitor collateral performance, performing credit analysis, and executing trades in the primary and secondary markets. You will also assess securitization structures and make sector recommendations across client portfolios.

About You

Required:

Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or engineering.
3-8 years of experience modeling, underwriting, and investing in non-agency RMBS.
Proficiency with programming languages including Python and SQL.
Experience building econometric or machine learning models.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Preferred:

Master's degree or CFA charterholder or progress towards the CFA designation.
Ability to take risk and make decisions under pressure.
