Summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking an Associate Post Masters Mental Health Fellow for Adult or Child roles in Vacaville, CA. This position is part of the Northern California Mental Health Training Program, providing advanced training and clinical supervision to Associate Marriage & Family Therapists, Associate Clinical Social Workers, and Associate Professional Clinical Counselors.

About the Role

As an Associate Post Masters Mental Health Fellow, you will provide psychotherapy to patients, co-facilitate family and group therapy, and participate in clinical supervision and training. You will engage in community partnership projects, attend workshops, and maintain patient records while complying with ethical standards and local policies. The role includes working with various teams, such as Adult, Child/Family, and Chemical Dependency, and may involve providing services in both English and Spanish.

About You

Required:

Successful completion of pre-masters internships in mental health settings.
Masters Degree in Social Work, Social Welfare, Clinical or Counseling Psychology, or related field from an accredited college or university.
Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, Registered Associate Clinical Social Worker, or Associate Professional Clinical Counselor Registration in California required at hire.

Preferred:

Theoretical background in cognitive, emotional, and interpersonal functioning, and major schools of psychotherapy.
Experience and/or training in working with Adult and/or Child and Adolescent populations, Chemical Dependency, or Bilingual Clinical Therapy.
Experience in establishing psychosocial diagnoses and providing standard psychotherapeutic services.
Experience in Clinical Case Management and group therapy.
