About the Role
As an Associate Professor in Educational Leadership, you will be responsible for teaching between two to three 3 credit hour courses per semester, chairing dissertations, and mentoring doctoral candidates through their degree completion. You will collaborate with school administrators and the Department of Educator & Leadership Preparation, engage in service and committee work, and support broader department initiatives. The position requires flexibility in teaching assignments and a commitment to working with a diverse, non-traditional student body.
About You
Required:
- Earned doctoral degree in Educational Leadership or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Significant experience chairing dissertations.
- Demonstrated record of successfully mentoring doctoral candidates through degree completion.
- Academic record that meets the University and A&M system qualifications for tenure.
Preferred:
- Experience with both quantitative and qualitative dissertations.
- Experience working with Local Education Agencies and Institutions of Higher Education.
- Administrative experience at the University level.
- Superintendent Certification and experience.
