About the Role
As an Associate Scientist, you will conduct experiments involving the extraction, purification, and analysis of proteins from human serum. You will utilize techniques such as mass spectrometry, chromatography, and electrophoresis for protein characterization, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, analyze and interpret data, and maintain laboratory equipment while ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience with protein chemistry.
- Experience in protein extraction, purification, and analysis techniques.
- Strong molecular biology techniques, such as cloning, plasmid purification, SDS-PAGE, and Western Blot.
- Proficiency in using laboratory equipment such as spectrophotometers, mass spectrometers, and centrifuges.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced research environment.
