BioSpace is seeking an Associate Scientist to join their team in Cambridge, MA. The role involves leading laboratory efforts to advance novel cancer treatments using Vd1+ gamma delta T-cells.
About the Role
As an Associate Scientist, you will independently design, execute, and interpret functional in vitro and ex vivo assays to understand the pharmacology and therapeutic mechanisms of candidate molecules. You will propose experiments, analyze data, and participate in scientific discussions to drive decisions regarding Vd1 T-cells as a cancer therapy. Your responsibilities will also include collaborating with cross-functional teams, maintaining laboratory documentation, and contributing to research reports for regulatory filings.
About You
Required:
Master's degree in Biology, Biosciences, or related field plus 18 months of related experience.
Experience isolating, culturing, and expanding Vd1 gamma delta T cells from blood, healthy tissue, and tumor sources.
Ability to design and execute in vitro/ex vivo assays of Vd1 gamma delta T cell function.
Preferred:
Experience analyzing experimental data related to Vd1 gamma delta T cell biology.
Familiarity with RNA-FISH PrimeFlow Cytometric Assays for identifying Vd1 gamma delta T cells.
