About the Role
As an Associate Scientist II, you will support advanced molecular biology techniques including gene expression analysis and next-generation sequencing. You will collaborate with colleagues, analyze and summarize data, communicate project statuses, operate laboratory equipment, and develop scientific proficiency necessary for project completion.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Neuroscience, or related field with typically 3 or more years of experience, or a Master's Degree (no additional experience required).
- Strong skillset in molecular biology techniques (RNA/DNA isolation and QC).
- Experience with medium-throughput screening (qPCR and ddPCR).
- Experience with next-generation sequencing (bulk RNA-seq and sc/snRNA-seq).
- Ability to independently execute and analyze experiments and troubleshoot technical challenges.
Preferred:
- Experience with automated laboratory systems (KingFisher Flex and Biomek i7 workstation).
- Experience in working in multidisciplinary teams and in external collaboration.
