About the Role

As an Associate Software Engineer, you will be responsible for writing and testing solid, reliable, and efficient code for highly scalable systems. You will work with designers and artists to create, optimize, and maintain game systems and custom tools. The role requires efficient self-management to balance independent work and collaboration with other developers, as well as documenting complex systems clearly for future reference.

About You

Required:

Experience playing EverQuest®
Self-starter attitude
Degree in Computer Science or Computer Science Engineering or equivalent work experience
2+ years software engineering experience either in school, personal projects, or for work
Ability to communicate complex processes clearly in both written and verbal methods
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
A working proficiency in C++
Versatility with different styles of programming
Understanding of object-oriented software engineering principles and methodologies
