About the Role
As an Associate Specialist - Specialist - Subcontracts, you will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of subcontracts, ensuring compliance with government regulations, and collaborating with Project Managers. Your daily tasks will include issuing RFPs, performing cost/price analysis, negotiating subcontract terms, and monitoring subcontract performance. You will also interact with various internal teams to resolve subcontract issues and maintain compliance with policies and regulations.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
- 1-5 years of demonstrated experience administering, negotiating, and awarding Government Contracts or Subcontracts.
Preferred:
- Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARs).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with direct experience in Purchasing.
