Summary
American Red Cross is seeking an Associate Technical Product Manager to join their Innovation team. The role involves working with leadership and stakeholders to define and deliver product requirements for technology solutions that support the Red Cross mission.
About the Role
As an Associate Technical Product Manager, you will ideate and evaluate technology opportunities, document business cases, drive rapid experimentation, build proofs of concept, maintain project roadmaps, and coordinate tasks within the Innovation team. You will also analyze business processes, facilitate problem resolution, and provide training and guidance to staff.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of related experience in Technical Product Management or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Recent coding experience with HTML, CSS, and an object-oriented programming language (e.g., Python/Java/C#/C++).
- Demonstrated ability to rapidly prototype solutions and iterate based on feedback.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience working with APIs and reading technical documentation.
- Experience with generative AI product concepts and workflows.
- Experience using Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- A passion for contributing to the mission of the Red Cross.
