Falvey Insurance Group is seeking an Associate Vice President/ Vice President - Inland Marine Underwriting to join their team in Phoenix, AZ. The role involves new business development, retention, growth, and profitability on an assigned book of business.
About the Role
As an Associate Vice President/ Vice President - Inland Marine Underwriting, you will be responsible for underwriting authority, reviewing and analyzing submitted underwriting information, managing day-to-day requests on assigned accounts, and promoting broker relationship management. The position requires monthly travel to visit brokers and participation in companywide events and meetings on a quarterly basis.
About You
Required:
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
- 10+ years of experience underwriting Inland Marine insurance business.
- Must have the necessary Property & Casualty Producer’s License or willingness to obtain such license within company allocated timeframe from date of employment.
Preferred:
- CIS, CSR, AIS designation and/or completion of General Insurance Program.
- Associate degree in a business field or related business experience.
