About the Role
As an Athletic Trainer, you will be responsible for preventing, assessing, treating, and reconditioning athletic injuries. Your duties will include casting patients, providing splints and braces, answering clinical phone calls, educating patients on exercise programs, and performing thorough medical histories and physical examinations. You will work closely with physicians to carry out prescribed treatments and recommendations.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline.
- Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) certification.
- Licensed as an Athletic Trainer by the North Carolina Board of Athletic Trainer Examiners or license eligible.
- BLS for healthcare providers.
Preferred:
- One (1) year of experience as an athletic trainer.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the use of relevant medical terminology.
