About the Role
As an Athletic Trainer-PRN, you will function under the direction of a physician and be responsible for traveling to area high schools to provide on-site services for practices, sporting events, and clinic hours. Your duties will include evaluating injuries, managing treatment plans, and ensuring the safety of student athletes by following established procedures and protocols.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or a related field.
- Florida License as Athletic Trainer.
- BOC certification.
- Emergency Cardiac Care certification (e.g. BLS or ACLS) from American Heart Association.
- Less than one year of on-field Athletic Training experience.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in Athletic Training or a related field.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to recognize problems and work systematically to resolve them.
- Commitment to self-development and contributing to a safe environment for student athletes.
- Knowledge of evidence-informed athletic training practices.
