Summary
AmeriCorps is seeking an Athletics United VISTA for the 2025-2026 term, based at Sunrise Elementary in Smithfield, Utah. This full-time, one-year position focuses on community outreach and partnership development.
About the Role
As an Athletics United VISTA member, you will develop systems and tools to enhance community outreach and build partnerships. Your responsibilities will include strengthening grant development and fundraising capacity, creating a data-management system for accurate reporting, and developing communication materials and training resources to ensure effective program operations.
About You
Required:
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Strong skills in fundraising/grant writing, recruitment, communications, and community organization.
Preferred:
- Experience in developing training resources and organizational policies.
- Proficiency in computers/technology and writing/editing.
Benefits
- Living allowance of $1,914 per month.
- Education award of $7,395 or a cash stipend of $1,800 upon successful completion of service.
