Centers Health Care is seeking an experienced Attending Physician (MD / DO) to service a skilled nursing facility in Staten Island, NY. The role involves delivering quality care services and participating in the planning and organization of medical services.
About the Role
As an Attending Physician, you will be responsible for assuring the delivery of quality care services to all patients, conducting physical examinations, developing and reviewing medical policies, and participating in comprehensive care planning and staff development. You will also ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and manage medication prescriptions responsibly.
About You
Required:
- NYS Licensure to practice medicine
- Current DEA Registration, in good standing
- Current with the Continuing Medical Education (CME) licensure requirements
- Substantial knowledge of health center licensing and operations, especially within a managed care environment
- Previous experience in a culturally and linguistically diverse setting
Preferred:
- Experience in skilled nursing facility settings
- Culturally aware and sensitive to the special needs of diverse populations
